Judi Dench, 10th Place, one of the oldest players to play Celebrity Survivor, Judi Dench came to Nicaragua and was instantly an immediate liability physical speaking, however, stunned her tribe when she showcased impeccable puzzle solving skills, leading her original Zapatera tribe to multiple victories, however, when they were banished to tribal council, Judi was ousted for being the weakest link and being on the bottom of the tribe, however, she stunningly won her way back into the game via redemption island and became a dominant force at the merge, being eliminated again quickly but surviving several duels until she landed in tenth place ultimately when Angie Harmon, Kaia Gerber, and Doug Savant beat her in her final redemption island challenge.
Angie Harmon, 9th Place, the femme fatale of Zapatera, Angie Harmon entered the game and infamously admitted to wanting to attach to a strong male leader and control the game with him. Instantly, she attracted herself to Brad Pitt and together, the two dominated the pre-merge, leading their alliance of five and picking the others off one-by-one. Angie constantly teeter-totted at the merge with Sigourney Weaver to flip, as Sigourney felt Angie was being used by Brad but Angie was naive and trusted Brad Pitt, however, Sigourney’s wisdom proved to be correct and when a surprise blindside occurred when Brad Pitt wanted an all-male final, he cut his right hand woman and Angie was unable to win her way back via a duel and landed in with place overall.
Evan Peters, 5th Place, the heartthrob of Redemption Island, Evan Peters came out to Nicaragua and was instantly viewed as a tribal asset for his knowledge of the outdoors as well as his physical capabilities, performing extremely well in almost all challenges he participated in. At first wanting the returnees eliminated early, Sigourney Weaver was able to convince him to join their alliance whom he stayed loyal to, despite entering the merge without numbers and losing Kaia Gerber early on - - a player whom he connected with due to their age - - Evan was able to lay low and not be seen as the biggest target between the original Ometepe tribe and he even was able to survive a deadlock tie that his tribe pulled rocks for, however, despite surviving and earning the majority at the top six vote, Evan’s alliance viewed him as the most likable player left moving forward and they shockingly turned on him when he couldn’t win his way back in and he landed in fifth place.
Brad Pitt, 4th Place, voted by production as the most robbed player of the season next to Sigourney Weaver as a returnee, Brad Pitt controlled Redemption Island to the highest degree, infamously grabbing the first four people he saw on day one and solidifying the final five alliance, as well as a secret final two pack with Angie Harmon, a move that was at first seen as stupid, however, proved to be Brad’s key to success in the game, as the entire alliance advanced to the merge with numbers, however, as curiosity will do, Brad got greedy and turned on his final two with Angie to move forward to the final four with the men, however, it proved to be his downfall as this move allowed the Ometepe tribe to gain leverage, idol Brad’s other ally Kong out, which created a 3-3 dead lock tie at the merge which Brad’s side lost. After this, Brad was unable to regain the numbers and despite outlasting one original OMetepe, Evan, with his entire alliance tribe on the jury, he was banished as the final jury member when he failed to win the final immunity.
Kaia Gerber, Runner Up, the youngest player to venture to Nicaragua, Kaia immediately surprised and wowed audiences when she admitted instantly to not wanting to be just the pretty girl who lays around all day but the girl who is actually the mastermind. And she certainly proved this, forming a counter-final three alliance with Evan Peters and Dave Franco early into the game, however, it soon fizzled out when Dave Franco openly admitted that he wanted to take Angie and Brad to the end because they deserved the win. Kaia then spent the rest of her game attempting to get Dave out, however, despite bickering with her former ally, the tribe banded together at the merge but when Kaia was taken out and forced to spend the majority of her game on redemption island, she realized focusing on one person as opposed to the entire picture was the better route to take and when she stunned everyone by winning her way back into the game, she took to her own advice and made savage plays, including backstabbing Evan Peters, a move that ultimately got her to the end where she received two votes, however, was deemed not the “true” winner as she had been voted out, something Jeremy had not had happen.
Jeremy Renner, Sole Survivor, one of the bigger stars of the cast, Jeremy Renner came to Nicaragua and was immediately put into the role of leader on the tribe, providing for them and being the voice of reason. Sigourney Weaver instantly connected with him and the two formed a final five alliance for the numbers, then a final two alliance within. Jeremy infamously clashed with Chris Pratt over several things and he got the last laugh when Chris was sent home very early. From here, Jeremy controlled his alliance and despite making the merge without numbers, was able to survive critical votes to get to a point where leverage could be made; Evan playing the idol. After gaining majority from drawing rocks, however, Jeremy’s biggest move came when he convinced Kaia and Sigourney to flip on Evan Peters for his likability and it was this move - - in addition to not ever being voted off, something his opponents had had happen to them - - that made the jury reward Jeremy with the title of sole survivor.
