PYN Celebrity Survivor: Tocantins (RESULTS)

Celebrity Survivor: Tocantins

Since last season I felt the cast was primarily older in age - - which wasn’t a bad thing - - I want to ensure there is extreme diversity in the cast. I want this to be the strongest cast ever so I have decided to shape the cast a little bit.

I will be dividing the tribes by age and since we know there is no shuffle during Tocantins, it will be subtitled Celebrity Survivor Tocantins: Battle of the Ages.

If you are unsure of the age of the celebrity you want, simply Google; it will appear on the first page!

ALL STAR POTENTIALS

Keira Knightley, 10th Place, the former “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, Keira Knightley came onto Survivor and hoped to stray from her damsel in distress typecast and instead perform in a more dominant manner. Quickly, she banded together with the majority alliance - - Antoni Porwoski, Dayo Okeniyi, Jena Malone - - and the foursome controlled the pre-merge, even with Keira infamously mutinying to the other tribe to save ally Antoni who had mutinied the round before the search for an idol with her idol - - and it worked when the duo sent home Robert Downey, Jr. - - however, upon entering the merge, Sanha blindsided his original tribe’s plans of blindsiding his newly formed Dayo and played an idol on him and when two votes came Keira’s way, it was the majority - - and karma, as some would say.

Dayo Okeniyi, 9th Place, one of the most heroic players in the game, Dayo Okeniyi came into the game and was immediately attached to the majority alliance in the pre-merge, however, after becoming turned off by Jena Malone’s manipulative leadership, he agreed with outsider Sanha to a final two and despite several of their tribes mates mutinying to only weaken their original tribe, Dayo survived with Sanha at the merge and when the tribe agreed Dayo would be the biggest threat overall, they cast eight votes for him but when Sanha used an idol to save him, Keira Knightley left instead and Sanha did the unthinkable to find another idol, however, Dayo asked Sanha not to use it on him again because he knew Sanha truly could win the game with it for himself and Dayo landed as jury member one.

Jessica Capshaw, 8th Place, another heroic castaway in Tocantins, Jessica Capshaw’s journey on Celebrity Survivor was a rollercoaster to say the least. Immediately outcast on her original tribe after voting in the minority during the first vote, Jessica immediately alienated herself from the majority alliance and was cast astray. She lost her main ally Betty White in an emotional tribal council, Jessica truly hit rock bottom with no allies remaining and despite at the merge for several rounds attempting to turn the tides while voting with the majority, no plans ever came into fruition and she was eliminated when her visit to Exile Island left the rest of the tribe paranoid.

Sanha, 6th Place, one of the most popular players of the season, Sanha came to the Tocantins to claim the title of Sole Survivor and he certainly made moves throughout the game that made him worthy of the win. Sanha started out in the minority of his tribe, however, after surviving the first vote he realized his position and mutinied the following round where he was able to find an idol and leverage it with his new tribe to keeping him safe. Soon after, Sanha mutinied back to his original tribe where he strengthened his bond with Dayo Okeniyi, his final two partner whom he saved with an idol at the merger vote, however, when Dayo was eliminated the following round, Sanha was never able to get a grasp on the game and when it got down to it, the majority alliance voted him out in sixth place.

Jena Malone, 3rd Place, picked pre-show by production as the season’s winner, Jena Malone entered the game and immediately knew what she had to do. She formed a majority alliance that was loyal to a T to each other between she, Antoni Porowski, Dayo Okeniyi, and Keira Knightley and the foursome controlled the pre-game, led by Jena who was often times seen as a manipulator but eliminated the players as soon as they painted her in this way. Despite controlling the pre-merge, however, Jena’s game fell apart at the merge when her allies left one-by-one and when she was alone in the game, she won a critical reward challenge where she brought Matt Bomer along and she effectively manipulated him - - as well as Alicia Silverstone - - into forming a counter final three alliance to blindside Will Ferrell and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, however, after Jena was unsuccessful in winning the final immunity, Alicia sent her home as she had played the far better game.

Alicia Silverstone, Runner Up, seen to many in the game as the “black widow,” Alicia Silverstone played a very strategic game, early on attaching herself to the dominant male alliance of Jalapao to avoid elimination in the pre-merge and it was this alliance that helped Alicia sail to the merge where the formed a secret final two with Matt Bomer at the top ten and despite the duo losing allies respectively, they were able to advance to the finals together where Alicia was ripped apart by the jury for being seen as riding the coattails of the strong male alliance but she argued that she helped orchestrate the exits of two of them, however, these moves were not seen as enough and Matt Bomer beat her in the end.

Matt Bomer, Sole Survivor, the triple threat - - strategy, charisma, and physicality - - Matt Bomer, on paper, was the perfect Celebrity Survivor castaway - - and proven Sole Survivor. Matt helped his tribe single-handily in almost every pre-merge challenge that Jalapao won and he early on aligned with the dominate male alliance but admitted he wanted to be seen as a follower within the alliance in the early stages as the leaders were usually voted off. And this theory ran true, when Matt Bomer flipped on his alliance to oust Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Will Ferrell, despite controlling the entire merge with them. In the end, Matt’s immunity wins, paired with his strategic plays and ability to get blood on his hands but still have people love him was what gave him the 6-1 victory over Alicia Silverstone.
