ALL STAR POTENTIALS

Heidi Klum, 9th Place, the femme fatale of the season, Heidi Klum came in and immediately made a name for herself in multiple ways, first dominating in the opening challenge to secure safety at her first tribal as well as building the strong alliance between she, Ryan Reynolds, Grayson Dolan, Garrett Watts, and Toni Tennille, however a tribal shuffle shockingly separated her from her entire alliance and she was the lone wolf Fang, however, after finding an idol on exile island, she infamously idoled out early favorite Kate Hudson to survive long enough to reach the merge, however, was taken out when her alliance no longer held the numbers and she became the second juror.

Cathryn "Toni" Tennille, 8th Place, one of the oldest female players to play Celebrity Survivor ever, Cathryn, known to many fans as Toni, Tennille entered the game and immediately was in the spotlight after she created one of the strongest tribes in Celebrity Survivor history - - one that likely would have dominated pre-merge if not for a tribal shuffle, however, Toni got very lucky by having her entire alliance - - Ryan Reynolds, Grayson Dolan, and Garrett Watts with her, minus Heidi - - and the held the majority through the fake merge, however, after Grayson was stunningly blindsided at the top ten, the alliance was picked off one-by-one, a la the “Onions Alliance” in the real Survivor: Gabon and Toni, despite also stunningly winning two immunity challenges, was ousted as juror number three.

Ali Larter, 7th Place, the extreme fan favorite of the season, Ali Larter entered the game and after being somewhat of a student of the game, knew it would be wise to form a quick majority so she pulled in Laurie Metcalfe, Dan Schneider, and former co-star Michael Rosenbaum to form a majority alliance, however, it was doomed from the start as they were unable to earn the vote of Jeremy Sumter at their first vote and Laurie and Michael were quickly ousted. Ali then landed in the minority on her swapped tribe, even getting spared by fan-favorite Sia who shockingly asked to be voted off so Ali could continue her dream of playing the game and she survived long enough to be reunited with her former tribe, however, after they were picked off one-by-one, Ali’s journey was viewed as the biggest story and worthy of a win and she was sent home as jury member four.

Ryan Reynolds, 6th Place, arguably the biggest name in the cast, Ryan Reynolds came out and knew he had a legacy to uphold. And he certainly begun his work to uphold that legacy by forming a strong alliance with Garrett Watts, Toni Tennille, Heidi Klum, and Grayson Dolan - - one that he led the entire pre-merge, however, in episode six, ally Garrett attempted to flip the script on Toni fearing she was a detriment in the challenge and Ryan infamously orchestrated his blindside to protect his final two goat. The remaining four alliance members sailed to the merge, however, were picked off one-by-one and Ryan was able to manipulate his way to the top six, however, was eliminated as juror five when there was nowhere else to hide.

Dan Schneider, 5th Place, a player who polarized audiences and his castaways greatly, Dan Schneider came into the game and stunned everyone. Production had him pegged as the first or second out and when he built, compared to the strong Fang tribe, the weakest tribe in Celebrity Survivor history based on the circumstances, production anticipated on their prediction reigning true, however Dan was able to convince his tribe to keep him past two votes long enough to make it to a tribal shuffle where he soon became a vital role in the success of his former tribe and them picking the other players off one-by-one. Dan, in episode 10, had a heartbreaking heroic edit when he announced his reason for coming on the show was due to losing his long-standing production job with Nickelodeon(TM) and it was his last ditch effort at fame. Despite the entire season being geared toward his heroic comeback, Dan landed in fifth place when the other players viewed him as the biggest jury threat.

Parker Posey, 4th Place, with her name written down twelve times during the season, Parker Posey certainly lived up to her nickname - - “the cat with nine lives.” A target at almost every tribal council, Parker Posey was able to survive each time thanks to the strength of her tight alliance with Liz Johnson, Sorin Dumitras, and Jeremy Sumpter, an alliance that ran the entire game from start to finish. Parker constantly received votes due to her outspoken behavior and her open opinion with everyone about everything, including the infamous fourth tribal council when she called Heidi Klum a bitch to which Heidi then played an idol and almost sent Parker Posey home, a vote Parker had to survive a deadlock tie in. Parker received several more votes until her heartbreaking elimination in fourth place when she was on the bottom of the majority side of her alliance between Liz, Jeremy, and Sorin. She won Fan Favorite at the reunion.

Liz Johnson, Runner Up, more than likely the least recognized name in the game, bowling superstar Liz Johnson game to Gabon with the intention of becoming known and that she certainly did, forming one of the most dominate alliances of the season on day two with Parker Posey, Jeremy Sumpter, and Sorin Dumitras. She was very close with Sorin and Jeremy, whom Liz felt reminded her of her nephews, and she formed a “Mrs. Robinson”-esque counter-alliance with them on day three, a move that would later prove critical and key in Liz reaching the finale. Liz, however, often times butted heads due to her abrasiveness, notably with ally Parker Posey — whom she personally tried to eliminate multiple times all season. Despite this, the alliance dominated through the merge and took the other players out one-by-one until the final four where Liz and Parker became the targets and due to the initial final three deal, Jeremy and Sorin brought Liz to the end, however, the jury felt Jeremy’s game was much more clean compared to her abrasive, “tell-it-to-your-face” gameplay and they and she received zero votes to win.

Jeremy Sumpter, Sole Survivor, the heartthrob of Celebrity Survivor: Gabon, Jeremy Sumpter came into the game and immediately dominated in the challenges and proved his worth around camp, with his tribe nicknaming him the “All-American Dream Boy,” a nickname that often times made him blush. But Jeremy wasn’t all muscle; he formed a very tight alliance with Parker Posey, Liz Johnson, and Sorin Dumitras and the four dominated the pre-merge and merge as well as challenge wins, holding three between them. Jeremy’s biggest move of the game was when he found a critical idol to save his ally Liz, forcing Ryan Reynolds to the jury, the move that Ryan Reynolds convinced the jury to reward Jeremy the win for, amongst the fact that he led a very dominate alliance throughout the entire game and never really made many enemies with the jury, compared to Liz who did often come off as abrasive.
