1. pedophiles should not be killed :)
2. marsha p johnson was not a woman but she was a MAN
3. sportsgeek said the f slur in a blog towards LGBT people because they pissed him off so he's in the right :)

1) Someone should not be killed merely for being sexually attracted to children.
2) Yes. Not even a week before his death, he said that he was a boy.
3) No. I said that calling him homophobic is silly. Do you really think that he hates gay people? It appears to me that him being nominated was the straw that broke the camel's back after being bullied and negged in his own charity.
4) LGB is different from T, and LGB events shouldn't be called transphobic for not including STRAIGHT trans people.
Regardless of the reason for hate, if you use things like sexuality / race / disability status / gender as a weapon against someone, especially in the form of a slur like the word used. That's bigoted / problematic / homophobic / racist / ablest / sexist.
Actions don't define people, but they give us a window to their thoughts. If the first insult that came to mind was a homophobic slur, that's really problematiq.
To be fair, Marsha P. Johnson never identified as a trans woman, though such an identification was not really common at the time. I wouldn't call them a man but I don't think it's fair to retroactively label them a woman either by modern standards. Just my $0.02.

exactly
she actively used she/her pronouns in her life but no let's take it seriously from the man who said that trans people should feel okay with being excluded from LGB events :/
rollingderp I'm not defending him. Obviously trans exclusion is a serious problem. I just don't think we should retroactively label Marsha P. Johnson a trans woman when they may not have identified that way.
