that if it wasnt for a black trans woman
the LGBTQ+ movement would be very different

Marsha P. Johnson was a gay man, not a heterosexual transwoman. Marsha P. Johnson didn't even throw the first stone. A butch lesbian likely did.

Imagine trying to strip a trans woman’s identity while also trying to downplay her importance and how she is a face of pride and stonewall

loopspeare she was a trans woman LOL she did not literally be like "if i could get surgery i could" and identify as female for most of her life for yall to say she was a MAN

And this isn't to say that Marsha P. Johnson wasn't a part of the movement. He was. But to act like he's some trans goddess while ignoring others who also helped the movement is iffy.

Baby they were also calling each other’s transvestites and transsexuals back then. We evolve, language evolves. Stop denying her womanhood

It’s always Marsha too y’all never do this to Sylvia

rollingderp I'm pretty sure she announced in an interview once that she wasn't even at stonewall when it started lol. Still a remarkable woman but I wouldn't say she started the LGBT movement.
