Hi quick point. I absolutely thing Ashanti should be able to say the word and that there needs to be context behind rules instead of blanket rules, because people just find ways around the rules and use other words instead.
That being said, Ashanti should be banned for saying it currently. The same way that any gay who uses the f-word on here now should be banned. Yall know its against the rules. Stop pushing the envelope and push the mods to change the rule.

Absol very good point. It's something that's truly subjective and could be a headache for the mods to work on, however in this situation I feel like it's a no brainer since like I said regardless of joking or not saying "robbed af" to someone who killed an innocent black person because they were black is NOT okay.
Also for the most part I feel like tengaged is good at discerning drama and/or trolling from like actual problematic content. For example, telling someone you're going to call the nearest mental asylum to come pick them up is different from bringing up a dead relative or pet (should be bannable imo) , Carolyn blogging about loving BBC is different from someone spreading racist ideology, etc... Although a lot of people do blur this line too! I'd just like to see real action being taken against Zach when Ashanti was banned for saying a word he's allowed to reclaim but he's being literally racist and awful and he gets a 7 day blacklist. It's hard to make sense of it
