Nobody could’ve told me when I won the Raffle Ticket to enter the house that I’d be here today. As someone who’s oddly enough considered an “oldie” on this website, I’m basically irrelevant and knew that no matter what I couldn’t rely on popularity as some people could because I’m just not too well known compared to other people in the house, but at the same time everyone in the game knew me enough to know that I play a good, intense game, instantaneously giving me the blame for the majority’s actions, as well as a target that came along with it from the start.
I legitimately had an insane uphill battle with this game due to the hindrances that the raffle ticket gave me. On last Saturday, I knew I’d have an important family party for the majority of the night, so I was unable to be on skype for the first few hours of the game, having to rely on pms and convincing everyone that I would be an asset to them if I didn’t go up for 16th, because that was a major fear of mine. I consistently have a plan when I join stars that seems to almost always work out for me, so within minutes of the game I messaged the three people that I felt like would have both an extreme sense of loyalty to an alliance and have no ties to anyone else in the cast, and those people were Quackerz, Sass21, and Doodleshugh. I seriously just told them how urgent it was that the three of them made a core four alliance with all of us, I’d explain later, but to trust me on it, and they did. I knew that I would have to develop individual relationships with the three of them, so if push came to shove they’d each pick me over the other, even though I obviously couldn’t have imagined us all making it this far together.
We all basically became a voting block; everyone needing our vote at all times and alliances being formed around us, giving us the chance and opportunity to decide noms, splits, and make executive decisions that would pave the path of the game the exact way that we wanted to. The loyalty of the alliance that I created was the key to my success in this game, and even though everyone’s loyalty was to each other, I knew primarily that each person’s allegiance over the other two was to me, which really helped me out towards the end of the game.
I overcame being labeled “the ringleader” and the “gameplaying mastermind” as many people had called me as they left, which literally increased the target on my back by soooo much, providing another obstacle in my way, but I worked through it, talked people out of their doubts, and used my positive relationships with people to my advantage, to the point where there was never a nomset that I didn’t get at least half through due to a split or a tie, regaining majority the next day. Day by day my road to finals got a bit clearer, my options opened up and the longer that my core four remained intact within the end of the game, the more of a chance I knew I had of actually making finals without going back up after 9th…and my hopes became a reality as I’m here right now @_@
As the person nominated the least with one of the biggest targets throughout the game, I know that I’ve played the game to the best of my ability, taking control of the game from day 1-16 along with my allies, being unafraid to take risks, make bold moves, and gather the numbers to change the game at any necessary point that I needed to. I really hope that the majority of you can see through the game that I played that I truthfully deserve to be the winner of Stars 245, and if you think so, and could vote for me to win I’d seriously appreciate it because I worked my ass off to get here with just one nomination.
owee13 there is nothing risky about being loyal to the same people. id like this blog if you said you made safe, small, strategic moves tht helped you advance each day but you clearly did not make any risky moves from my perspective. What choosing who youre going to split everyday? How risky.
Cocoabean Theres nothing wrong with having a loyal alliance in the house, it was like the only legit one that was able to split up, form different fake side alliances, separate the house in two where we were in control of both sides, but stay, at the end of the day, 100% loyal to each other...we knew when to lay low and when to make big moves.
Im sorry if you don't like my blog LOL idk what to tell you tho @_@
