I’m “biast” (con): Not a fan of musicals
So it's a classic and although not one that ever obsessed over the original it's hard not to have a warm spot for a talking candle stick and other talking things. I wanted to hate this to be honest and with the opening musical I was rolling my eyes thinking I for sure would but overall I was entertained but I liked it as much as I could possibly like it and it's a 1 time watch for me.
#058 - Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets: Coming in at 58 is the 3D Space Opera Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets.

I went in with not a clue what this was gonna be, The Visuals were amazing and kind of a mix of Avatar and Star Wars and they make it hard to take your eyes off the screen but the story wasn't anything new really but I was entertained.
#057 - Suburbicon: Coming in at 57 is the Crime Thriller Black Comedy Suburbicon.

I enjoyed the ride on this one, It wasn't quite what I had imagined it would be but I was OK with that. It was an intense one and I liked the ending.
FYI - I'm deleting titles from the original qualifier list as I rank them to make it easier for those following to see which films have yet to be ranked.
I would have B&TB higher but I’m totally okay with your reasoning
I wanted to see Suburbicon
Valerian was the worst movie I’ve seen in 2017 but I enjoyed it decently I just didn’t watch movies I thought I’d dislike and I had good judgement this year (only saw like 17-20 movies)
