My Top 10 Linkin Park Songs (10-6)

Mar 13, 2019 by noobsmoke13
This is my top 10 Linkin Park songs that do NOT include music from any side projects (no MALL soundtrack, Fort Minor, Mike Shinoda, Dead by Sunrise, or Bennington's Stone Temple Pilots).

10. "The Little Things You Give Away" from Minutes to Midnight

This song is legit a progressive rock style track that I totally dig. It has a super interesting underlying meaning about humanity's weakness for evil and how politicians sometimes feed off of that. You can tell that this song, and this album, came out during the most recent Bush administration.

9. "Place for My Head" from Hybrid Theory

This spot was a very close tie between this song and "Easier to Run" from Meteora I kinda needed some Hybrid Theory representation on this list. This is probably one of the songs on Hybrid Theory that has aged the best. This doesn't mean I dislike Hybrid Theory as an album, but it is very much a product of its time. It is still great and I still listen to it.

8. "Roads Untraveled" from Living Things

Okay Living Things may be my least favorite LP album but it is in no way awful. It is just a very experimental piece. "Roads Untraveled" is a highlight from it that includes beautiful vocals from both Chester and Mike.

7. "Guilty All the Same" ft. Rakim from The Hunting Party

The Hunting Party was an album that wasn't on my radar for the longest time. Upon finally listening to it, I loved everything about this track. It opens with a long riff and has a verse from Rakim. It is overall about the music industry and how devours artists. This a great rock song with some attitude.

6. "Leave Out All the Rest" from Minutes to Midnight

This might just be their most underrated single like ever. This thing is so simple and emotional that it just rocks. It is super easy listening whether you like super hard rock or you lean more towards pop.
