For David vs. Goliath, I am pretty excited. Many people are tired of casting themes but as long as the theme produces a good season, I don't mind. Based upon the preview we got, I think I will likely enjoy this cast.
I think I am really going to like Nick because I can definitely relate to his story. I am also a southern guy living in a trailer with food stamps and disability and other government assistance. I hope he goes far. Gabby comes off as a mix between Hannah Shapiro and Aubry. I think she will be entertaining. I hope Christian does well. I was disappointing by Jacob's early boot last season. No one will let many Cochran type contestants get very far post-Caramoan.
Angelina, one of the Goliaths, sounds like an annoying snob and I ain't here for it. "I HAVE HAD A FAIRYTALEEEEE LIFEEEEEEE." Ugh please go out premerge. John has potential but may be seen as a physical threat and go out premerge. Natalie, like other people have said, will either go out premerge or go deep into the game. Based upon her clip she may come off as overbearing.
AND ONTO THE RUMORED ISLAND OF EXTINCTION...
Oh Lord I hope these are just rumors and they end up being debunked. It is basically Redemption Island except you have to try to convince the other players to quit while on the island instead of defeat them in duels. Someone said this season has the potential to have the entire cast still in the game by the end of it. That sounds horrible and there is no way production will actually allow that.
The captains for this season are the part I am most excited for: Kelley Wentworth of San Juan Del Sur and Cambodia, David Wright of MvGX, Aubry Bracco of Kaoh Rong and Game Changers, and Joe Anglim of Worlds Apart and Cambodia. I heard they may be early boots but I really hope that's not the case either.
