Honestly

Tengaged and cancel culture go hand in hand. Yet I've seen people "cancelled" for doing minor things compared to other things people manage to get away with. Marlakk probably should have been banned, but at least on his way out he apologized.

Meanwhile we have evidence of Bryan being creepy and inappropriate but being left off the hook because he's...a minor which is low-key ridiculous. Just because you're under the age of 18 doesn't mean you can run wild and not have to abide by the rules everyone else does. If you rob a bank and you're 17 you don't just get away with it scott free. That's all I'm trying to say.

TLDR
Cancel Culture is bad but if we're going to cancel someone at least make sure it's for good reason.

and just like cancel culture, it only actually affects people who were already disliked to begin with

top20fan33 thats exactly my point, eilish was already widely disliked and that influenced a lot of the response

It may have had an influence but Eilish was widely disliked for a multitude of valid reasons.
