Today I spoke to about... 10 people from High School. HS was a very unfortunate time in my life so I tend to try to leave it in the past but I had to talk to these people for a very unfortunate reason.
My beloved friend, Salman is dying of Heart failure. We don't know how much time he has left or if he is even going to make it through the night. The doctors said it's going to be in the next 24-72 hours and I have practically been staring at a wall for the last 12 hours trying to figure out what to do.
My friends and I have a scheduled group FaceTime call with him and his family tomorrow and I know no one wants to admit it, but the FaceTime call is basically another way of saying our final goodbye.
I know nobody probably cares but if you read this far I really appreciate it. I was his closest friend in school and his younger siblings aren't old enough for Facebook so his Family asked me to post something on their behalf to the class once it happens. I don't like being the bearer of bad news, never have and never will. I've lost a few friends in the last few years but none were as close as Salman and I were.
