i think what the blog says is generally an entirely superficial idea of gun crime in america for sure, but you gotta understand that having easy access to guns is such a foreign concept to people outside of americ. it facilitates these ideas that it can happen to anyone at anytime which is definetely not the case, but is also not out of the question

lachie227 yeah i think this is a good way to frame it - i do agree with the general concept of the blog but i was just being a hard ass in the comments to make a point that it was a very superficial view LOL. maybe i shouldve come at this with more nuance but i was just confused cause i've never seen anybody just out and about wielding a gun and ive been to many 'conservative' areas of america
