for the first time in this blog series i wrote an installment when i said i would

80. Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) [2012]
3 weeks at #1
Kelly C is my basic white queen so it HURTS me to put her only #1 this decade so low but it's one of the worst songs on that album. i mean it's cute but it's very derivative and im pretty sure nobody but her under the age of 50 uses the phrase "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
79. P!nk - Just Give Me a Reason (feat. Nate Ruess) [2013]
3 weeks at #1
okay i like the concept of the duet where they both chime in to share their perspective on the relationship. unfortunately this doesn't really go anywhere and miss pink sounds like she's putting no energy into it. i feel like this couldve been way more emotive if it sounded more rock like her early work
78. Post Malone - Circles [2019-20]
3 weeks at #1
This breaking the record for most weeks in the billboard top 10 EVER is very ??? since i've heard this like 4 times. i honestly don't hate post malone and i can see the vibe he's going for on this song but it doesn't really GRAB me. i feel like better now has a similar sound and was executed better
77. ZAYN - Pillowtalk [2016]
1 week at #1
LMFAO the controversy of zayn leaving 1d still sends and it's still so funny how he was only able to get people to care about his solo career for like 2 months. the beat on this song is really OTT like zayn is not singing hard enough to warrant the explosive chorus that literally drowns him out. its fine ig
76. Post Malone - Rockstar (feat. 21 Savage) [2017]
8 weeks at #1
sorry to the 2 post malone fans on here cause this is when his songs start dropping like flies. honestly i can't think of much to say about this. it's enjoyable when i'm in the mood for it but i feel like tons of rap songs ripped rockstar off so im kinda OVER it. 21 savage's verse is good on this tho yes british king
75. Bruno Mars - Just the Way You Are [2010]
4 weeks at #1
This shit is so EXTRA like damn bruno calm down. i feel like all of bruno's early work was just him giving all of himself to random girls, falling in love, and then crying about how they left him cause he was too clingy i guess?? the vocal delivery here is on point though and i respect how committed he is to sounding as sickly sweet as possible
74. Camila Cabello - Havana (feat. Young Thug) [2018]
1 week at #1
okay i hate this racist on a personal level but this song isn't as bad as i wanted it to be. camila is definitely the weak link cause young thug slays but daddy yankee's verse on the spanish version washes both of them. i like how this whole song is just camila trying to convince the listener that she's latina but it's catchy so w/e
73. Taio Cruz - Break Your Heart (feat. Ludacris) [2010]

Blocked: Lady Antebellum - Need You Now
The way this is just dynamite but worse and with an unnecessary ludacris verse. i have lots of nostalgia towards this song and it very much encapsulates the whole late 00's/early 10's trashy electropop era so respect
72. Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera) [2011]
4 weeks at #1
I was a huge voice fan when they premiered this on the show and even 9 y/o me knew that xtina carried this. its not offensively bad like most maroon 5 songs released this decade and adam levine's vocals are actually tolerable on this aside from the moOoOOoOOves like jagger bit. the bridge is the best part obviously but shockingly the rest of the song isnt that bad
71. B.o.B. - Nothin' On You (feat. Bruno Mars) [2010]
2 weeks at #1
WHATS YOUR NAME? B.O.B. SO THEY CALLING YOU BOB?? okay that was off topic but nicki ate him tf up on his song like i KNOW hes embarasssed!! anyway i have similar feelings towards this as i do just the way you are but the prechorus up to the bit where bruno says BEAUTIFUL GIRLSSSS is very good. its too bad that b.o.b's magnum opus airplanes didn't hit #1 though cause that would be much higher on this list!
