I wasn't talking about meeting orgers/online friends in general as I've met several and had wonderful times... I was talking about traveling somewhere new/exciting and basing your trip around meeting somebody from online. Maybe I was out of line but saying I don't have online friends i'm close with is a completely incorrect statement. no matter how close i am with somebody i'd never buy a plane ticket just to see them lol

i think if someone wants to take a trip to meet someone, that's just as good of a reason than taking a trip to visit somewhere new and exciting (or it could be both). people have their reasons, and i respect it no matter what

teddybear yeah i guess, i was too judgemental and out of line. i still hold this opinion but i can't control people and what they do with their money/time so i'll just let them enjoy themselves i guess LOL. also it wasnt just about playboyy it was about numerous others ive seen INCLUDING the infamous coreyants story! it was an commentary on an ongoing trend not a personal attack but i can see how it's taken that way

mathboy9 I respect that you are able to self-reflect/recognize when you may have said something judgmental - a lot of people can't do that! but yeah, i understand. i personally think meeting a good friend from tengaged can actually be a really cool way to spend time. especially for people who have at one time spent a lot of time online - it's a great way to bridge that gap and make the person into a real life friend and not just an internet friend (in my opinion, anyway)

i'd like to say mathboy9 if you're referring to my meetup with mark... my flight was basically free. i've met up with 8 TGers and most of them were worth it. A lot of them we just happened to be in the same area at the same time. However, I knew pretty much all of them years before we met in person excluding one or two.
