before going to college? if i go this year i wont be turning 18 until november of my freshman year and my parents want me to wait a year but im just afraid i wont have enough to do :|

oh i always say that its so dumb i have friends who "take a year off" and never go back

Unless you have a solid plan to do something productive with your year, you should just go. I wouldn't worry about the 18 thing, I didn't turn 18 until November of my freshman year either and it was fine.
