Everyone goes through difficult times every now and then. And every less good time that i have lived i like to think that i was lucky, since it could have been worse. Im young and i try mentalize myself that the worst is still to come.The truth is that everyone has those moments where we just want to be locked in the room, waiting for time to pass and for us to be happy again.
I had a moment like that not so long ago. It was even before the pandemic, even before i entered university. It was a turning point in my life. The reality is that i was feeling very down bc of a result in one of the exams i needed to do back in high school and i ended up with the a score that i wasnt expectating (my expectations were rlly high xd) and that made me not taking the course i wanted for less than a tenth.
This was a very difficult summer for me, especially at the beginning where i isolated myself for a week from everyone. I was really sick, i was tired and i felt like i didnt know what I was doing. My friends called and told me to meet them but I just couldnt do it... I really wanted to, but i was feeling so bad that I couldnt do anything and at that week I didnt talk to practically nobody.
The truth is that all of this is now insignificant. I entered in another course that i am really enjoying and that is probably even more suitable for me. I like to think that things dont happen by accident and that everything has a meaning. I like to think that it is not the bad times that define our life, but the way we react to it.
Im going to say again that it is completely normal for us to be down because of something that really affected us, however everything is quickly back to normal and you have to be ready to live your life again. Your life can change radically because of one of these moments and you have to be ready to move on.
The whole message of this song makes me realize that bad times all pass and it is something natural, something that must be part of our life.
