CJBC Episode 1 Results

imageWelcome to our 20 chefs. This week you were tasked with a breakfast STAPLE: cereal. As someone who starts every day with a bowl of Multigrain Cheerios I feel very strongly about this topic. Nothing is quicker, safer and nicer on the stomach than a bowl of cereal pooh.

With that being said. I have some bad news. mathboy9 has been removed from the game by the medical team due to altitude sickness.

I will now give some very succinct comments on these dishes in the order they were submitted.

Absol - I can always fuck with some Reese's Puffs. I also really respect that this cereal is sending a message.

bigdizzleyomama - I'm not impressed. Your dish wasn't ready when you presented it and you basically needed to be told to put food on the plate. This cereal looks disgusting and I hate the Simpsons.

artpop2 - I can respect a girl who takes a risk. But I'm not sure this works for me. Cereal to me is some crunchy cat food with some cool refreshing milk. Oatmeal is nice and the presentation of this was cute. But to invade the competition you really needed to SHOW OUT.

kmartt - I think these are Frosted Mini Wheats? And they're okay. I've picked those up a few times in my life. Kinda safe and bland.

darktyphoon23 - Definite points for presentation here but the fruity flavored cereal is a MISS for me, I think it tastes disgusting.

highnoon - At first I was really digging the presentation of this bowl as well, but then I saw the period blood being poured onto it. I really want to forgive this just for the INTIMACY and the COLOR of this image but I know I would take a bite and retch, see above I hate the fruity cereal.

rollingderp - This is the first of the imitation Lucky Charms trend that a lot of girls went for, I'll admit now those girls were going in a good direction because I'm weak for that diabetes stuff. I would buy ANYTHING Eliza Thornberry has to sell also. And now I can talk to animals it's really cool.

Analiese - These actually sound divine and I want them right now. Someone knows I love a good churro.

Thegoodman - This is so quaint and artisanal! I would definitely enjoy these though it does sound like kinda a LOT. But you really went above and beyond with the presentation and the inspiration.

yaxha - This was the most controversial bowl of cereal of the night. If I'm to BELIEVE this is chocolatey rice puff cereal it sounds like it would absolutely snap. If it's BOO BERRY? I'll pass. Still this was another one of the most INSPIRED presentations of the morning.

eoin - These look kinda bland ngl. She gets extra points for the image being from coke babies.com.

ebonygothchild666 - So my fat ass LOVES pancakes. I was immediately aroused by this entry even though I feel like it might not be a great cereal? I would definitely pay money for this and eat it even if the first bowl was mediocre. The presentation is mesmerizing but that butter on top though? This was a risk. I'm not fully sold that it's cereal.

olympia - This was another big risk, and.... I also don't think this paid off. I'm not trying to eat Buster up I'm not a pedophile or a furry. This was definitely the Project Runway 7 Ping Wu entry of the morning and I respect it but I want something to EAT next time chef.

howlovely - Oh wow these are looking so green and appetizing. I would probably try these but for a nice meditative meal before a long shift at work? I don't know if this would sit THAT well.

batya - This is prob the most blah of the Lucky Charms-esque entries but I still respect it and would definitely eat this.

TheOmen - So I won't lie I do love some Peeps. This sounds rly good and I love the box art for it, they look VERY appealing. That milk is really jumping out at me like some cummies.

roxas546 - WOW. This was a breathtaking entry, but I shouldn't have expected any less from you chef. I think those are Frosted Flakes too which are a SERVE. This really sets the bar for the rest of the competition in my eyes.

Queenisha - This was another big risk. You had nothing to show for judging, and I would never eat that for cereal in the morning, or EVER. I respect the cultural influence of this bowl of cereal but I just don't respond to these flavors.
