I just got back from my mission trip today. It was great! It was very life changing and eye opening. There were many great guests that preached to us. My favorite of them is the Jon Mullins Band. They are an amazing Christian band and you should try listening to them one day. We also did much hard work. We went to the local Boys & Girls Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee and those children seemed to be some of the happiest children on the planet! I got to talk to some kids about Jesus Christ and God, and I got some to accept Christ. It is an extremely warm feeling. We also got to go to the baseball field of which the movie 42 was filmed. We helped clean it up and they are working on turning it into an actual field! The next day, we went to the Ronald McDonald House and clean up for them. I feel very accomplished and proud of what I have done this week. On the other hand, my youth leader's wife had a car accident. They are all okay. There were 2 adults and a 4 year old in the car. One of the adults is pregnant. The car is totalled, but everybody is okay, including the soonly arriving baby. That night, one girl was feeling sick, so she went back to the room. Had she not went back, another girl would've been in the wrecked vehicle, and she opened my eyes and heart that night. She had admitted that she seemed like a good girl, but isn';t at all. She told us that if she had been in the vehicle, the accident could've been worse, and she could have been easily been sent to Hell that night. You could die at anytime, so it is best to change your ways as soon as possible and I will definitely start working on myself. I pray that I can help others to do the same and spread Jesus' word.
