This was just meant to be a warm up. Something to help me with a bigger drawing for Chadwick's passing but I don't think I can do that. At least not with my current skill level.
This whole process has been so painful. I still flashback to memory were classmates would insult me for even saying that he was my favorite hero. Forcing me to give a reason why I liked him so much. Just having a hero that looked like me was never enough. So when Chadwick put his heart and soul into that role. I felt justified that people finally saw what I saw as a kid. This icon for black excellence and a vision of a world were African people were flourishing. A world in which for once we were not the victims.
Even though the character and the impact lives though comics and movies. Chadwick if you can hear me out there. I just wanted to say thank you for everything ❤️
