I just find it funny

Jun 1, 2020 by koolness234
How people on all social media sites including Tengaged and Facebook regardless of their view of the rioting looting and protesting are just now posting their support for the black community. It took this to get them to say anything for or against. I just hope whenever this all dies down people are not placed in another false sense of complacency not fighting systematic racism till the next minority is killed.

I unfortunately don’t think this is even the end. There’s still so many that don’t understand.

This won’t end.

45% of the country supports racism.

koolness234 hun there are a lot of human right issues in the world atm where no one is being vocal about it at all. When the IDF shot a 12 year old palestinian a few years ago & the USA chose to veto the UN's decision to account Israel for that war crime, nobody on social media was vocal about it. I could go on, but I wouldn't say the BLM movement was "swept under the rug" over the past few years, it's been one of the more active human right movements recently.

tbh when i first heard of george floyd's death i wasnt expecting anything to happen

Akeria You typed a paragraph and missed the point.

Akeria

1. Never claimed other violations of human rights are not occurring and advocate for Civil Rights in other countries, not to mention intervening in Human genocide we know is occurring in Africa.

2. Never said the BLM was swept under the rug, only you did. Please do not put words in my mouth. Thank you

3. I said many people despite the BLM movement being visual for years have said nothing until now, and if they continue that trend only speaking up when stuff is this bad, then they will allow the trend to continue if they get complacent again.

Koolness234 My initial comment was in support of your blog... Idk what's up with the argumentative response rofl. I never said you said the BLM movement was swept under the rug. I was just furthering your own contention but you clearly didn't receive it well ig.

"I agree and people should be more vocal about what happens outside of the USA too"
Sent by Akeria,Jun 1, 2020
akeria Because your comment showed none of that. It showed no logical support other than saying

This happens all the time
Black Lives Matter is a more visual movement is literally all your comment said
Sent by koolness234,Jun 1, 2020
Akeria Further more argumentative is not me saying you missed the point. Then respond to your comment.

That is not argumentative at all, sorry if you took it that way I guess

ladies, ladies !
Sent by Zuelke,Jun 1, 2020
Koolness234 No, I said the BLM movement has been relatively progressive over the past few years and we should aim to raise other human right movements to it's standards.
Sent by Akeria,Jun 1, 2020
Akeria No you just said that your comment above was

1. Listed social rights issues gone unnoticed
2. Next statement say BLM has not gone unnoticed

Literally all that initial comment says, you do not make an argument anywhere.
Sent by koolness234,Jun 1, 2020
I wasn't MAKING an argument at all rofl. I literally said my comment wasn't meant to be argumentative it was meant to be supportive of your blog but you clearly interpreted it incorrectly and are for some reason being hostile towards me koolness234.
Sent by Akeria,Jun 1, 2020
Akeria I am not being hostile towards you at all.

I am simply saying all you posted is

1. List of social rights issues and I can name more
2. BLM does not go unnoticed

Then are saying it was suppose to be construed another way which I now get, but your initial comment still does not portray that.
Sent by koolness234,Jun 1, 2020
Akeria Where is the hostility you claim is happening.
Sent by koolness234,Jun 1, 2020

You replied with a 3-point paragraph arguing against a comment that was supporting your blog.

I stand by my initial comment 100% and if you would like to discuss this in further detail, I more than welcome you to DM me.
Sent by Akeria,Jun 1, 2020
Akeria Still not hostility explaining my points.

I still stand by your initial comment only said

1. XD social rights issues all around have gone unnoticed I could list many, followed by BLM has not gone unnoticed. Is literally all you said. No need to discuss anything in private, as that is literally what you said.
Sent by koolness234,Jun 1, 2020
Yes it is what I said Koolness234

What's your point?
Sent by Akeria,Jun 1, 2020
Akeria Thanks for finally admitting what you said was what I detailed which is drastically different than the point you were trying to make.
Sent by koolness234,Jun 1, 2020
I was never denying what I said, rather the way you interpreted it koolness234
