Depends on the situation. For me personally i would not be mad or hurt if a friend straight up told me they are voting me out as appose to blindsiding me.
i think you have to go in mutually understanding choice A., but if it's like the last quarter of the game and shit has to be done, and the friend isn't overly shady or downright rude about it, then it's all fair and respect.
if you're friends with someone and you're their first target then ya that's probably something that needs some re-evaluations, but sometimes inevitables happen.

To me it varies from each situation, like for example in group games when a close friend of mine backstabbed me I was upset at first then I realized it was a group game, you play to win that is your goal, that's where the fun is so I learnt that I can do the same. It really doesn't change the friendship
However in games like tengaged survivor, I join with friends bc they make it fun for me so I wouldn't turn on them but if they do turn on me for like karma and ts and knowing i wouldnt do the same to them, I find ts and karma worthless for me? so yeah I think it'd change my perception on them and make me not wanna play with them again, not upset though.
Honestly it depends on why people play games and what is fun for them.
It's always case by case but end of the day it's a game...there is 1 winner...if you play any other type of competitive game, video game etc you dont simply let your friend win just because...They key however is being shady and dishonest or more so hypocritical when they do the same to you...End of the day if it cost you a friendship it wasnt a real friendship to begin with...
but I will say it's different if it's like final 5 in Stars and you're trying to go unnommed...like I understand that, but I recently had a friend nom me for 10th and I was pretty hurt. Given I did nom them too, but only because they made it clear they were nomming me. Like plz don't join Stars with me if you plan on backstabbing me for double digits, thanks!
i mean i would say A but i guess it varies in every game! Like ppl have other friends and i can't expect them to be loyal to me and just me in a game like that but if they backstabbed me for a random person they met 2 days ago I would be hurt but i get over it pretty quickly lol
depends on the context, if my friend takes my house in monopoly it's fair game but if i were to join like a stars with one of the friends i knew IRL and they fked me over for no reason i'd think they're a big nerd
A good friend will never choose to betray you. Like we are talking besties, not just a friend you talk to once every two months. I played games with Petro, Maxi1234, Meyaar and we always had each other's backs.
B, but if a friend came up to me and said "im gonna have to vote you out because X and Y", I'd be like "yeah no prob! thanks for telling me!" and everything would be good.
And then I'd do the same back if I either stayed or we played another game after that.
lmao B because I can't stand being lied to, period. There's an exception if like, before the game we decide that we're allowed to lie to each other tho.
