So my parents finally payed off their house, and since they are both retired they want to move to the beach. All my mom and dad do is watch Netflix. Well they have no point in selling the house they just paid off so they are giving it to my sister and me, however; my sister told them today she has no interest in the house. Should I sell it or just use it for free living quarters for Duchess and I? It has a master bedroom and three other bedrooms. Who wants to move in with me in a month in a half

you could try to rent it out to people if you wanted
s73100 crayadian dirt Iceey I would either live in it or sell it. The house is worth around 700,000 last time it was appraised they spent their whole life paying it off. I might get it appraised and see. It is nothing I will be doing in the upcoming months probs will take me a while to decide it is my childhood home
It's years of financial efforts from your parents, I wouldn't sell it probably ever then I'd pass it onto my children and so on. Not sure if i'd even rent it unless it's some trustworthy renter that i've known beforehand, plus it's a really nice house from what you described. So in the position you're at id just use it or either fully rent it or live there while renting rooms for students in the last case.
Keep it Property the most valuable thing in life. You think ur parents spent their whole life paying it off for you to try to make some quick money on it? If they wanted to sell it they'd sell it and get the money they worked their whole life for.
Don't be that kid. People spend their whole lives making a legacy just to have the next generation Completely mess up everything they did.
