What made me move Unwritten:London off of tengaged [and the majority of my shows]

Jul 1, 2015 by kilikfanof2mrow
There's a few reasons as to why I made the decision to place my shows on their own forum, and I want to let you guys know my reasonings.

First and foremost, the biggest reason is that tengaged really doesn't fit my style of hosting, especially when i'm changing to more adult shows. Characterization for some of the characters does not work well with tengaged [look at Asher and Ty from U:LDN for what I mean], and with me going for a break from teen shows, I wanted a place to make a show shine.

Secondly, and this reason is somewhat difficult to fully understand, is that I want to be able to have a successful show with a great cast, with people who won't cause issues for the host or the fellow cast members. Every show I've hosted and a fair few I've been in have had issues with this. There's always that one person who starts something... and it kinda gets old. Not trying to be rude, but there's always that one person [sometimes it's the host, and they don't realize it, but more often than not it's one character].

Third, I don't wanna have to battle with any other RPs for your time on tengaged. I think it works out well that the forum I went with is more convenient [imho, with the chance to edit anything after it's already been typed] than tengaged, plus being on here for five and a half years made me realize this place is filled with a lot of detritus, and i'm not wanting that much anymore.

And finally, I want to be able to be free from having all the unspoken RP rules being shoved in my face. I think it's time someone took a stand for having RPs that don't fit the mold of what we've seen on tengaged, and if you think that you're willing to give it a try, click on the i'm moving my show link and head over to my forum for unwritten london.
