i've been vaccinated for over a month, and recently the mask mandate was lifted throughout the country. my workplace allows me to take my mask off since i am vaccinated.
how do you all feel about this? is there anyone who is choosing to keep theirs on? i guess i've gotten used to it so i feel like its wrong to take it off. i've continued to wear mine since i'm in contact with a large number of people (who lets face it, 90% of them probably aren't vaccinated and still wear no mask) and i just don't want to risk it.
i think if i was in an area with a higher vaccination rate, i would feel more comfortable. only 22% of all people in the county i live in are fully vaccinated, and many of the unvaccinated refuse to wear masks. i know i'm in a unique situation but i thought i would ask and see what other vaccinated people are choosing to do!
i know i'm a little late to this discussion but i figured i would ask now!

i kept wearing mine until today because my bumfuck town has almost everyone unmasked already. like come on girlies i know y'all aren't vaxxed. but as of friday i passed 2 weeks since my 2nd dose so I am officially fully vaxxed so I guess why not, it's better than weird stares...remember masks only stop you from spreading not catching so if you're vaccinated it's minimal risk to others to unmask
heavenlee that's a great point! i never really considered that. i've been in contact with my grandmother since i've been vaccinated so i've worried about exposing her to more people through myself. i guess i forgot that masks only help stop the spread, now that i'm vaccinated it's not going to spread!
