randomly one morning I woke up and felt a weird bump in my neck. thought nothing of it, but still wanted to get it checked out at the doctors. They thought it would be a swollen lymph node, but they wanted to get an ultrasound to figure what it was. After the ultrasound, I got very bad news showing that the bump was actually a 2cm nodule on my thyroid (which you're not supposed to have). I ended up needing to do a biopsy and it came back positive for cancer. I was diagnosed with a super rare version called Braf V600 e which is an aggressive form of the thyroid cancer and can spread very quickly throughout the body. They immediately booked me for a surgery and now I am cancer free but also thyroid free. I have to take hormones everyday for the rest of my life because of how critical your thyroid is for your bodily functions.
its been 2 months post op and still have some weird side effects. I have low calcium now so randomly Ill just have my whole body tingle and go into little seizures, as well as heart palpitations. My mind is in such a bad mental state and my anxiety makes me think any little thing I have is more cancer lol. #thankgodformyklonopin<3
thanks to all my friends here who didnt forget about me. yall are sweet ppl. please for me, take care of your health and if you have any little thing, go to the doctors and get it checked out. the littlest thing could actually be the worst.

happy for you my fellow warrior! dx 3b colon cancer back in Jan 2018. 3 yr cancerversary in a few weeks. Keep up with your follow ups and wish the best for you in 2021!
