I Love Money 4 - Why Chi Chi Lost

imageSorry im SO late on these updates, I havent been able to download the episodes of ILM for a bit but now I can catch up with episodes 5 and 6! Whoohoo!

Anyway, for those new to my 'I Love Money' blogs heres how it goes. Once each player is eliminated from the current season of 'I love money', they get tested against my five rule system for a deeper look into why they lost. Up to the box is Chi Chi who despite having a supposed greater threat next to him AND a good ally still went home. Lets see why.

Rule 1: Have Allies, Keep Allies
Chi Chi failed really at this rule, yes he was 'supposed' to have had Brittanya by his side but that alliance vanished early, then he was 'supposed' to have Corn Fed as an ally but it seemed like something that was more 'friendship' and less 'ally'.
Basically ChiChi needed to learn the difference between friendship and alliances and.... he didnt.

Rule 2 - Keep Control of Your Emotions
A quick clue, harping on constantly about 'Make a Wish' is all well and good but there comes a point where saying 'Oh im giving money to Make a wish' wont work, instead it comes off as desperate and something irritating.
Second clue, shouting, screaming and almost punching somebody who could send you home isnt a good idea also.
THIRD clue, panicking when in the box is akin to rabbit in a headlights, if panicked you'll likely say stupid things, case in point the whole fiasco with Corn Fed.

Rule 3 - Strategize
I never got any strategic play from ChiChi at all during this game. When he had power, he rolled over for his team. When he had to vote during the Corn Fed/Mindy/Marcia/Fiesty scene, he claimed not to have a real voice. In general he controlled nothing and had no shield to protect him from possible elimination.

Rule 4 - Dont OVER Strategize
Chi Chi tried to strategize at the end but it was all little too late and what he did do didnt help matters. Basically all he proved was that he couldnt be trusted, could flip on a switch loyalty-wise and had to go.
Worse still was the 'Corn Fed Paymaster' plan which was awful on several fronts, firstly Corn Fed was already with Punisher in a semi-alliance. Secondly Corn-Fed wasnt really allied with Chi Chi, after all Corn Fed DID vote Chi Chi for the box!

Rule 5 - Dont Trust Anyone 100%
No fail here... I think...

In a nutshell: Chi Chi played an awful game, he didnt strategize or make solid alliance when he needed to. He didnt make any argument that actually made sense and worst still, he demolished any chance he had with his whole 'Corn Fed Paymaster' route. That coupled with the fact that he rocked any physical challenge, he was GONE.
