Need to have a sub-title and tribes based on something? What happened to a tribe 8-10 random people with no sorts of connections vs another tribe of the same thing. And the season was just called Survivor and then the country. I mean cmon youre over complicating it.
Because of budget cuts its much cheaper to re-use locations. They've used/will use Fiji from MvGX to 36, for example. Obviously they cant call these season Fiji 2 so they have to come up with something to name it. Thus, the themes.
dumbginger well then name it after specific islands in Fiji like Vanua Levu and whatever other islands. Like they filmed in Philippines but had seasons like Caramoan and Cagayan
islandsurvivor I guess its easier to use the theme to get people interested in watching the show rather than saying Survivor Fiji or w/e. But i wish the themes were simpler and not based on cast. Like just give us a good cast and make the twist be like something in the game rather than the cast. That way we dont have to be reminded every 5 min what they are. "As a millennial.... rofl
