Week one is off to a great start!! Very satisfied with the submissions I got and honestly have no complaints, but sadly someone still has to go... having said that, I’m going to give the bottom two a chance to battle it out since I was overall very pleased with how you all delivered this round! 💕

Who can forget this theatrical masterpiece? Certainly not I! Though if I’m being completely honest.. whenever I find myself having a bit of a Gaga binge, this song rarely ever makes the cut. I’ve exhausted it throughout the years, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate it or can’t enjoy it should it come on. A lot of Gaga songs would have got a higher placement, but you also could of done a lot worse! So overall, good job on safety.
chels052_ - Wide Awake by Katy Perry
Always pleasant to listen to! I don’t find myself ever searching for it, but should it come on I always get into it and don’t automatically skip. Much like Gaga, there were stronger picks, but there were also much worse! So good job on safety also.
turkeylover - Radar by Britney Spears
Aw, I remember how much I used to spam this song!!! Such a classic Britney bop and one of my faves from the album. I used to love it so much. Haven’t listened to it in a while so it was nice to revisit and reminisce. Great choice! 💕
tbrown_47 - Fading by Rihanna
This was a really enjoyable listen. It’s not a song I’ve actually listened to much EVER, so that made a nice change from songs I’ve definitely overplayed at some point. However, I’m not crazy about it. I do like it though! Just not up there with my Rihanna faves. 💕
Arris - Give your heart a break by Demi Lovato
This is so cute and cheesy, I love it! A classic Demi bop and definitely one of my favourites by her. Sadly it wasn’t good enough to rival one of the top spots, but a very good choice indeed!
tswiftlover13 - Just like a Pill by P!nk
Yasss! This song never gets old. P!nk is crazy talented and I remember how much I used to jam to this song when I was younger, even though I didn’t actually know what she was singing about, lol! However, one of my faves by her and a strong choice! Great job!!! 💕
stuartlittle16 - Survivor by Glee
Gotta love the troubletones! This song isn’t actually in my Glee playlist, but having listened again, I can’t deny the fact it’s an amazing cover. Mercedes and Santana’s voice suit it so well!! I’m not crazy about the original either though, but I still think they did a great job!
Grrrimabear - Give What You Like by Avril Lavigne
I actually really enjoyed this! I haven’t heard it much at all and will probably listen to it again. It’s a very calming and relaxing song and Avril sounds great. Good job!

Love!!! I’ll never get tired of this song and you were so close to making the top 3, but sadly the other top 3 are such strong picks that this one just fell short!! Still an amazing pick though, good job! <3

One of my favourite Sia songs period!!! I love it so much and the moment I heard it I knew it had to be a single. It’s just a masterpiece and I love it so bloody much! Makes me feel empowered. Amazing job.
absol - Behind These Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson
Ugh, Kelly!!! I remember how obsessed I used to be with this song and the music video. It’s probably one of if not my all time fave Kelly songs and yeah... beautiful!!! <3
kingjames13 - Bring me to life by Evanesence
I mean, who doesn’t rate this evanescence song?!?! It’s fucking incredible and will always be absolutely iconic in every single way.

Ah, you saw my profile, didn’t you?! Sadly it’s purely for the lyric side of things. I don’t actually listen to this song much at all ever and everybody knows I’m a massive Ari Stan. It’s beautiful song telling, but just not for me. I appreciate the risk, but sadly it didn’t pay off!
Heavenlee - Shout out to my Ex by Little Mix
Ah, babe! This and Black Magic were the banes of my gay clubbing experience when I lived in London. Horrendously overplayed and the songs I’d always use as a toilet break or an opportunity to get another round in. They just rub me the wrong way, I’m sowwie!!!

I don’t think it’s a bad song, it just honestly doesn’t do a whole lot for me and you had so many better options, I’m sorry!
