I'm not gonna be out there trying to guess which religion is the right one. If you dig into each religion there all made to make you believe in something.
I know this is not the typical way to feel because people are scared of going to hell for not believing. But how are we going to know that we're not really worshipping the Devil and everything in the holy bible or any holy book was just apart of his agenda.
If a magical being did come back and claimed to be Jesus would everybody just magically go to him and beg for forgiveness? I mean that might be the right thing to do but what if it's really the Devil deceiving us.

There's a lot of truth here - we don't know. There's no factual evidence. But there is faith and that's enough for most.
