So its not exactly what you see on TV. The TV show Cops is filmed for months to get enough for a 30 minute broadcast. CSLIE is just that, a lie. None of that happens like it does on TV. Law and Order is a joke. Most times attorneys plea far earlier than actual court time. I always love when people decide to be their own lawyer. Its hilarious.
I do see some serious shit though. I've seen dead kids, body parts laying in the road, a man who's head was cut off, and a dude get squashed by a tree. I've brought people back to life and saved a woman from jumping off a bridge. Those are things I'll always remember.
The hardest part about being a cop is that you're constantly a cop. Its not like I can turn it off. I don't trust anyone and I am constantly observant in social situations. As a cop, you can't bury your head to the problems of the world. You hear about everything. Things you never thought happened in your neighborhood become daily occurrences.
Just venting... nice to have somewhere to just talk even if no one reads..

cuff me officer, i have been a bad boy ;)
jk, yay police, dont be discriminating against my people though
My brother-in-law was a cop in Pakistan. Their policy is so strange compared to the British/US Police. But it's the same, he can't turn it off even though he's not a cop any more.
Question - Do you think Hot Fuzz represents the job the most accurately? Cos that's what I've heard. XD HeyItsMaggee
