Is Rent worth watching?

I’ve been addicted to the song La Vie Boheme from the 2005 movie adaption of the musical and I was wondering if the movie as a whole is worth a watch. I know a lot of people love it and a lot of people hate it, what’re y’alls thoughts?

Its kinda of a mess tbh but its not the worst thing. The pacing is a bit weird and it doesn't have the best direction. The only good thing is that it does have the original cast from the shows og run. So the music is fine. Though I think it would be better to watch the filmed stage show. It full on YouTube.
