I finished work last night, I drove home to my mum telling me to sit down as she needed to tell me something. My aunt, someone who I love with all my heart has had a brain aneurysm and basically the doctors can do nothing. She woke up early in the morning and had a massive bleed on her brain. My uncle had to resuscitate her while my cousin had to take her siblings who are 5 and 10 into another room, they are so young and don’t understand what has happened to their mum. We were in the hospital until the early hours, my family are pretty close so it was a complete surprise that this happened, my aunt was so healthy, in fact the best shape of her life!
The doctors advised that her wish was for her organs to be donated and I was told today that all organs that can be taken have had perfect matches found, so I’m grateful that out of all of this she is going to change and help save so many lives.
I’m going to miss her so much, she was the person who spurred me to come out to my parents and has always been a massive advocate in my life, she also introduced me to the spice girls and absolutely fabulous, a lot of my identity is from things she had introduced me to.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Jamie. Your aunt sounds like an amazing woman who brought light to so many lives, and will continue to bring light even after her passing.
