imagetruly is the modern day male version of tonya cooley like im catching up on the current season and him talking about wanting to propose to his current girlfriend at home (who is actually the mother of one of the 2 kids he has had out of wedlock i believe?) is SUCH a kii as just a few scenes later in the same exact episode the camera pans to him flirting with camila in the back of the bus in relentless pursuit despite camila (usually the one who is the complete crazy) trying to be the rational one telling him that its not a good idea

ive seen bits and pieces of him from the other seasons he has been on but the bit i remember of him most was when he got into a brawl with his brother (i forgot the name of the season but i assume bloodlines cuz they're family...?) and getting kicked off so i wrote him off already as just being the typical crazy that they cast with a loose temper... but without even watching the newer seasons of the show consistently, i keep reading constant messes revolving around him such as getting cast members pregnant and watching him on this season its clear he has major problems with drinking and general emotional/psychological issues rooted in his past? (like when he got shit faced drunk and yelled at/made aggressive gestures towards cara cuz he thought she said something about his mom and then it was discussed that he has dark history with his mom or something that triggers him hard)

part of me roots for him to get it together but then part of me recognizes that he's kinda a hopeless case... despite him acknowledging that he's a mess he just cuntinues to get into more shit and things just get worse and worse which is literally how tonya was. even tho they both obviously have major deeply rooted issues (though i'd say tonya definitely had more and her dark past was always a more central part of her story) and though tony is more of an asshole to others compared to tonya (who was usually the one getting picked on) they're both pretty fun to watch. for some reason with him ive come to appreciate his presence on the show and don't tune him out unlike most of the other typical tryhards that inhabit it nowadays like the CESSPOOL that is cory. i guess tony is also tryhard in a way but hes genuinely a hot mess and i hope he doesn't spiral into the pit that tonya eventually sunk in to mentally lol

That's an interesting comparison for sure! Idk if Tony gets picked on as much as Tonya bc y'know...girls are petty, but I get what you mean. I see it, I just hope he doesn't spiral out of control bc I rooted for Tonya so hard and she just...did not leave the show on a good note. I just hope Tony can get himself together

i like tony and root for him all the time but on this challenge he isnt thinking strategic like hes never been the brightest but he really is setting himself to get backstabbed by bananas/ct/derrick smh
