Hufus played a very strong strategic and social game, managing to position himself throughout two sides during the Merge, and ultimately avoided being a target. At the Final 6, the votes tied 3-3, and since Hufus was in possession of a Hidden Immunity Idol, he was guaranteed to make the final 4 if he flipped on the revote. In addition, had he made it to the Final Tribal Council he likely won the game. However, Hufus mistakenly chose instead to not only save his Hidden Immunity Idol for Final 5, but he also chose to go to rocks at the Final 6. This proved to be fatal for Hufus' game, as he drew the purple rock and finished in 6th place, leaving with the Hidden Immunity Idol in his pocket.
