Welcome to Donaam's League Drag Race ★All Stars★ Week 9!
The original premise of this game was to get me to play some new champions more regularly and find a diamond in the rough, of sorts, in league. But after doing a season of that, I decided it's time to pit the girls against each other. I brought in my then 14 level 7 champions to scrap their way through a RuPaul's Drag Race style elimination competition with the league client's grading system, op.gg, and myself as judges.
Last time seen I had narrowed down a final 4, and the final challenge was that I'd play 10 ranked games on each champion. The bitch with the lowest total of average grade, op.gg score, and wins gets eliminated for 4th. No lipsync at all! It's also worth mentioning that since I did this early in the season, this final challenge allowed me to climb from gold 4 0lp to gold 2 18lp! Sickening!
With that being said, the sore loser of this challenge is... Akali! I know damn well if this bitch hadn't been reworked she would have won the whole competition easily, but they had to go ruin her! Despite how horribly riot has treated her, she'll always be my chaotic invisible ninja assassin bitch whom I love dearly. But now, sashay away.
The games are done, we're down to 3, and now it's time for me to crown my queen!
3rd PLACE: QUINN
When my homegirls were placing bets before the season began, I had two of them pin Quinn to be the first elimination. But she made it bitch! Quinn mid is my unconventional fave... she's a lane bully pre-6 and suddenly has basically free unmatched map pressure for the rest of the game. I love roaming and making picks, and Quinn fits this play style perfectly. We love a dark horse! Unfortunately, she didn't do quite enough to establish herself as the winner of this competition.
RUNNER UP: MISS FORTUNE
She kept herself entirely middle-of-the-road safe for the first seven weeks of the competition, and then decided to show up and start winning! I love her storyline in this fake game I've created, but more importantly I've really grown to love playing this bitch. She's an aggressive, seductive markswoman with great lane presence and good scaling (if you take dark harvest like I do!) Also I guess I just want to be finklestein123 really badly. But of course, that one bitch outperformed her!
WINNER: DIANA
This was entirely her competition to lose from the beginning, and she simply didn't! She finished with the highest average grade score, average op.gg score, and winrate among the final 3. She finished with an 88% winrate over her 32 games and never had to lipsync, she truly just did not let anyone else breathe. The only reason I even play League of Legends is because alexclow345 offered to gift me any champion I wanted if I downloaded the game. I took my ass to the page of champion thumbnail pictures and I picked Diana because she looked the most fierce. She's my ol' reliable, and no one deserves this metaphorical crown more! Now prance, my queen!
Tune in for season 2 of the classic 'Find My New Main" style game whenever that may be! I'll start my hollywood rounds soon but who knows how long that will take!
