It was a specific circumstance where the person who revoted was immune and also didn't vote for either person involved in the tiebreaker in the original vote.
HOW CAN YOU JUST NOT COUNT SOMEONE’S VOTE IN SURVIVOR? LIKE HOW CAN YOU JUST LET SOMEONE NOT VOTE IN SURVIVOR??? i mean if you’re changing up the rules of survivor go ahead but it’s just not realistic or authentic of a group game. Ethan000
deshonBANNEDISBACK Maybe, but the rules from S1 have always been that you have 30 minutes to vote in a revote, and that hasn't changed. It was a very weird circumstance that happened and obviously it sucks, but there wasn't much else we could do. If somebody didn't vote either of the people involved in the revote, and doesn't revote at all, would you want us to just randomly vote for them? We can't do that...

deshonBANNEDISBACK That sincerely wasn't the case in this instance, we know that for a fact. Like I said, this isn't a normal circumstance and it really sucks but we made the decision that we have made in a past season, and it wouldn't really be fair to switch that up now.
