12 years ago dannyjr0587 was created on tengaged. I remember sitting in my friends basement searching the internet for online big brother games and the rest is history. While I’ve been on and off throughout the years, I’ve always found a reason to come back. Mostly it’s been for the elusive stars win, but this time I had no really motivation other than to do things I hadn’t before (own a shop and play hunger)
When I came back a few months ago after a 5 year hiatus (I did come back a few times and say hello on the blogs page) I didn’t really know what to expect. michaelfisher texted me to join a rookies so I did. I was kinda down in the dumps honestly. I had recently asked my husband for a divorce (that’s now finalized) and just been overall mentally drained from the emotions that come with leaving your significant other. I have met so many amazing people these past few months and it made me realize that I wish I never went anywhere. Reconnecting with old friends has been such an awesome time. Forgiving people who wronged me years ago and speaking with people who I betrayed. It’s just been such an awesome time.
When I left I left for a few reasons. Firstly Stars. After making back to back finals and losing due to multis in Stars 384: https://tengaged.com/poll/bigbrother-game-151146 Really destroyed my want to be on the site. It was the first and only time I ever thought about banning myself.
At that time my husband to be and I were buying our first house together, and planning our wedding, so I really didn’t have the time to be on the site anyways.
In those five years I bought two houses, got married, asked him for a divorce, found an amazing job- which is leading me to a new career opportunity that will allow me to own my own business, and had so many more crazy life experiences.
Today, I look ahead and I think about stars and if I will ever win again, if I even decide to play again. And I want to, man do I want to; but I never click that enroll button. I love owning shops and posting designs for you all. I want to keep getting shops and doing that as it’s so fun!
