Seriously you DO NOT own copyrights to outfits celebrities wear lol. Like if I find a dress and design it myself on paint from scratch that is not your design. You didnt sew the fucking dress I'm sorry. These designers wanna claim design shapes and ideas. You dont have a damn patent on celebrities at award shows.
Literally they think they own designs from doll sites. Like if I get on the doll site and make it myself they think they can control me posting it. Get a life. Stop being so entitled that you think you're the only person that gets to design things.
I do agree that they don't physically own rights to the dress but if they spent hours recreating it for tg I think they have the right to be as extra as they want about it. If they don't limit who can post it, their designs don't have as much value when they want to post their design.
paige54 im not saying the ones they design. I'm saying if someone else finds the same dress online (on the celebrity) and design it from scratch themselves it is now their design (the one they made).
cswaggerr I sorta see what you mean. Hannah_Banks2250 designed the dua lipa resort outfit after I did, and I didn't mind (hers was actually better lol). But some designers are entitled and will snap at you for designing something they did.
Unless it's their original idea, they don't own rights to all copies of that design, only their specific drawing.
cutieamy yea who the fuck cares it's just another gay hobo looking dress that was probably intended for Michelle Obama but ended up on some D list celebrity like Omarosa
LMAO so true! most of them directly rip them off from doll sites without crediting the copyright owner so how can they get mad when other people use them anyway?
LOL yea its a bit much on the whole especially when they dont get actual money for it but i guess if u have took ages to do something with it or something i can understand being protective over it
