going to either Halifax or Charlottetown for 2-3 days in the beginning of July? The flight alone is $400 CAD + hotels, I'd probably spend like 1k just for a couple days. I could fly from ATL - LAX for cheaper roundtrip, it's annoying how expensive it is to fly domestically here.
I'm flying back to the US at the end of July, so I'll likely never return to Atlantic Canada any time soon. However, I'm moving to the Midwest for my PhD in August, and there's a lot of costs associated with it. I'll be buying a new car, car insurance, phone, and laptop. Plus I need to buy furniture for my new apartment. So I don't know if those couple days would be worth it. I'd love to just travel NL some more, but kinda hard to do w/o a car here. I do have an ORG friend who said she'd meet me in Halifax though.
Hmmm... honestly, not a ton to do in Halifax. I think the Charlottetown festival is within that timeline? If you like theatre. I'd say that would be worth it! Never been to PEI, but I hear that it is beautiful! Maybe see if Swoop or Flair has some options? I find cheap flights there quite often.
RawrItsNick I actually have a BA in Theatre, so yes I do like it. Swoop only flies to Hamilton, ON from St. John's and Flair only flies from Deer Like. We don't get many discount airlines here.
