Isn't the point of this game to be enjoyable? If you make 100+ multis to help you "win," an online game where you don't even win any real money, you're pathetic. Trust me, I'm not going to cry about not seeing a "1st," on a blue star badge on my profile. My life is plenty interesting without this game.
To those of you who are in the process of saving me in Stars, your support means a lot!
I leave you with this: you aren't a winner if you cheat. I'd rather have last than first if it means having to no-life my way to a "victory"
Okay, the third time in Stars doesn't count. With a lack of moderation, Tengaged has proven to be rampant with multis. Winning is not just an unlikely scenario--it's impossible. What once used to be a fun concept of a game with a moderator who kept things in line has since become the death throes of a once great game.
Also, no matter what number that blue button has on your profile, it's not a win if you cheat your way to it.
I, Mr. Hasbeen was once fairly well known on Tengaged back in the early years of 2010-2014. The "Golden era," some say. I first played Stars after being selected in the archaiac group "The Big Stars Giveaway," I got 10th place with 50.1% of the vote. ONE vote. This drove me mad. I returned to Stars fourteen months later in the Fall of 2011, only to improve my score but still not make the finals! I got 6th with 50.5% of the vote.
I "retired" from Tengaged in 2014 a year after graduating from high school, though I still would blog occasionally to check in on all of you. Now I decided to come back out just to try my hand at Stars today. This will be my final game =c(.
In the time since I joined back in 2010, I graduated high school and became a Firefighter in Urban Atlanta. A lot has changed, but my double defeat in Stars has always been floating around somewhere lost in my subconscious.
My journey in Stars is an old schooler's attempt to survive in the chaos of modernity. It's also a tale of probably the most unlikely winner, should you all decide to promote me from Mr. Hasbeen to King Hasbeen.
P.S. If I win, I will finally reveal what high school I went to.
