First off, I'd like to thank jubbzy for this experience, despite your lack of updates from your porn-virus-infested computer. And secondly thanks blogs who begged me to play, to whom I refused unless he wrote me a poem, and he wrote the most epic poem you could imagine.
Before I list off a few things, I knew I'd never win this. After like the first update and someone was already orange, I was like god almighty I don't have time for this crap. But I continued on trying my hardest to be Runs_From_Bees, the 20 year old photography major whose parents own a Spanish Tapas restaurant.
PS....every time I said I was going to the restaurant....that was code for the bar (in the evenings) or hangover (in the mornings).
Ok, so a few things:
- I am probably going to get a lot of disagreement here, but fastings honestly are probably one of the most fun games this site has to offer. Yeah, you could probably say that all you have to do is make a chatzy and nom your way to the end, but some of these newbs are so strategically savvy it's amazing.
- It's kinda crappy the blatant disrespect you are shown when you're a newb. Like commenting an innocent question on a blog and being told STFU YOU STUPID FUCKING NEWB. Let's all remember our roots, shall we?
- Some of my friends that I tried to talk to via mails ( tofutime , owee13 ) blatantly ignored me....while some people I couldn't stand on cheznahuf were completely amazing to runs ( dmann )
- Plan your premades carefully. atti12ashu_2002hmzz If you want to try to fool newbs into thinking you're not together, remove each other from your friends list before you play....not after the newb calls you out for being together. And also, when it's blatantly obvious you're an alliance and you've been shown about 5 pieces of evidence to suggest so....show some respect and just own up to it (but that said, I think you're all really nice....except for when atti was a glass of sour milk that final day)
- Wonderland playing with you was a little disappointing....only because you forgot you were in the game so frequently. I've been waiting for that 200th game invite since about January, and I took the first chance I saw to play with you on Runs and I was underwhelmed. However the advice and your concerns about tengaged with me in PMs were spot on.
- This site is really the most fun when you are a newb. Meeting new people, seeing the scale you can climb to greatness, etc. Everything being new, is just fun. Even though my new experience wasn't so "new" it was still fun to be a newb and meet all those new people.
- Towards the end of the race, I was getting antsy and decided to join a game with some people who knew who I was ( bluestaroleary91zurks ) but still decided to have a shit load of a fun annoying the fuck out of 2cool4school and frontierpsychiatrist for gifts just like a newb would. 2cool's responses were priceless, dav ignored me.
You got me so good, lol. So good that I am embarrassed for myself for some reason. :P Remember Jersey Shore Shark Attack? Good times....horrible movie.
Really though, you are a class act. I hope we can stay in contact now that we are both on our original accounts?
I have to agree with you about the Fasting's games cheznahuf. The most interesting thing to me in the one that I played recently was that everyone stayed in the game and it went fast. That's when I figured the Race To Black players were playing in them. I never played with you though :(
atti12 true we met for the 1st time in that game . i guess he wrote that bcz we were so friendly and cordial to each other ,he must have assumed that :)
and i have to agree with you on the fastings things. I love playing them because I get to connect with newbs. Im always astonished to see how hard they play. With all that hard work, they deserve more karma tbh
Well atti12ashu_2002 I could've sworn I saw you two on each other's friends list days before you two added each other on final day.....which I only noticed after that entire chat about how you all couldn't stand frankoo and wouldn't join mrcriminaljustice's game because of him and your shared bad experiences because of it.
But regardless of who appeared where....I was one person against a solid alliance and everyone still denied it to the end after I had pointed out so many things to prove what was so. And to say you even met for the first time in that game would be false, as I know you all "met" in the skype chat you made before joining that game.
I did have a feeling that you were a R2B, especially with how many games you were playing, but I just went along with you. You were brilliant and hilarious.
