LMAO ARE THEY SOME COMPLICATED, UNHEARD OF CUISINE? I had some for dinner last night, and mentioned it in casting. First Miss BlueStar asked me what it was. I thought she was trolling! But apparently the concept of putting just butter on noodles as sauce is unheard of in the UK? lmao.
Then, just now, Eilish asked me what I had put on them. I told him butter, garlic salt, parmesan cheese, and peas. THEN HE ASKED ME IF I COULD GO ON CALL WITH HIM WHEN HE MAKES THEM. You know, such a complicated dish requires supervision.
BlueStar you asked me what it was before I told you what kind of noodles it was though! But it's good with any noodles, spaghetti noodles aren't even the best choice for it, they just happened to be the type I had.
i live in america and i literally have never heard of buttered noodles until i saw it on a show, it’s a weird concept to me, my family is spanish though so it’s not like we eat super traditional american foods but still buttered noodles just sounds weird
wheatbread when I was a kid we had it as a school lunch option sometimes. I also worked at Noodles and Company (that's a chain fast casual restaurant, but they don't have it in every state, so idk if you know it) and it's on the menu there, so it's definitely not rare, but I can see it being less common in some areas. It's basically like something for kids and picky eaters, but normal people also like it. Like it's plain, but it tastes good, especially if you add parmesean, veggies, and some seasoning.
i love buttered noodles.... i drench that shit !
