I've seen a lot of discussion about how expensive the price of T$ currently are (and obviously I'm fully aware of the whole "blackmarket" of T$ sales that goes on). With that discussion comes a lot of people stating that they would purchase T$ if it was more worthwhile for them to do so.
So with that I wanted to ask, what would more appropriate T$ prices be in your view if they were to be adjusted?
In your answer, try to find a balance to strike what's actually a realistic change to the pricing.
what hobnobgpro said seems reasonable
plus maybe 1 dollar for 50 t?

That's actually a good idea, but it would have to be $1 for 20T. If someone just wants to join rookies/Survivor/hunger but they are broke, or if they are JUST SHORT of an item they wanna buy, I could definitely see people using the $1 option. It would probably get used a lot.
The idea that playing stars for one week is 20 dollars is kind of insane.
Now let’s look at designs: to post one in shops instantly that’s 400T$ which is around 20 to 30 dollars, also a very high price foe ONE design.
Games like Fortnite cost like maybe 10 dollars to play a full on massive loot based season meanwhile Tengaged charges 30 dollars for an internet shirt. Let’s also consider that there are 10 shops with 20 stock a week so that’s 200 designs weekly so it isn’t like we have a shortage of consumable customizable designs.
LETS ALSO CONSIDER: RANDOMIZE DOES NOT MAKE OR MARKET ANY OF THESE PIECES. The community itself creates it, markets it, and prices it for him. He puts forth minimal if literally ANY AT ALL effort for it. So it’s insanely high value is overpriced.
All that combined I would find this most appropriate:
$5: 300T$
$10: 720T$ *20% value for paying more worth two stars and some change OR one design plus*
$30: 2,400T$ *33%ISH increase for paying more*
$3.00 for 100t
$5.00 for 200t
$10.00 for 500t
$15.00 for 1000t
$30.00 for 2500t
If randomize were smart, he would implement an incentivized pricing structure as exemplified above. With introduction of new color levels and a more competitive shops game, I could see this pricing model benefitting him the most.
And for the minority of people living in South Africa like me? $3 is super expensive. But I know it’s impossible to change for everyone. Thanks for doing an amazing job anyway. Such a great mod team
As someone who was bought t recently, 500t for 30 irl dollars isn't enough for this website, 500t isn't enough to buy you a color level if you're past sky, and more than likely only one design from the shop. I believe
Having the options moved down a bit and making 100t for 30 dollars and maybe including a 50 dollars option for 5kt or 3.5kt's would increase how much people buy t's and in turn would increase revenue on this website.
Let’s be real brandonpinzu , any money spent for t$ is money for Carlos. So why does it matter? The only thing to do on here with t$ is buy designs which don’t cost him a penny. And it might offset the AWFUL new shop system to have more t$.
I think $4.99 for 500t seems reasonable. Shit, I buy the sims kits for $5 and get way more than one article of clothing for my avi.
Honestly just appoint BB5lover and me to the Tengaged Economic Advisory Council we literally have masters degrees we can fix the monetary state of this site with like two slight rule changes im TELLING u
it depends if Carlos is purely trying to make the most money possible from buying ts or if he/y’all are aiming to create a system where he earns more steady income from T sales. He will definitely start making more period if he makes more fair prices but if they’re TOO generous then we’ll get to a place where you can’t buy anything without buying ts which will either drive ppl off the site or make a few weeks where everything in shops is as expensive as possible & eventually ppl won’t be able to buy shit. so the prices can’t be like TOO generous because then we’ll get to a point where the only way to participate in the t economy is by buying a FUCK ton of ts every week which.... maybe like 5 people on here are willing to do
What I wonder is what is anyone going to reallyyyyy do with 100T$ besides get their T$ Up to join games, use it for bets to bank some after they get buy 100T$?
So in my mind buying 100T$ would be fit that purpose.
The next stages could be for gift buying, color level advancement, shop buying, etc. With designs being posted in shops regularly for 400T or more, I wonder if that should play a factor into cost to buy 500T$ - 1000T$? To make it profitable and reasonable for both sides.
How the prices are now, I just can’t justify paying 30$ to gift a friend a design from shops, but if it were lowered (to like idk $10) I think I’d be more apt to do something like that for a friend or to help a shop owner.
I like BB5lover suggestion tbh, but I’ll provide another to think about, I don’t know if $15 is feasible for $1000T as it’s already $30 for 500T, so idk if $15 would be too low, even tho it would bring a wonderful incentive to justify buying T$. Anyways… here’s another option??
100T - $2.99 or $3
200T - $4.99 or $5
500T - $9.99 or $10
1000T - $19.99 or $20
I don’t really see a reason for 1000T option because one could just buy the 500T option twice if they really needed that many T$ Or just add a 20$ option for those that don’t want to make 2 transactions
his brand restructuring should be focused more on the elephant in the room of how to get new users/get them to stay/change the dynamic of this site away from being where you fall in the hierarchy of decade long factions
