Hi - just wanted to provide a quick update to those who have mailed/blogged about it within the last 24 hours. We have not released a cast for Winners at War. The 16 people that have been selected for the cast have also not yet been informed.
My original blog indicated that there was a goal of selected players being informed yesterday. We had approximately 85 applicants for the cast, which was more than I personally expected. The quality of the applicants was amazing. So, if you are not selected, we sincerely apologize, but there will definitely be special stars games in the future, so stay tuned for those.
Upon further thought, it was decided that the best approach is to wait. If we were to provide invites to the cast or post the cast publicly, it is highly likely that the game would essentially begin right away. For the benefit of the game, we want to limit pre-gaming as much as possible. We will post a refined approach later.
