The time has come where randomize has given us full capabilities to address account sharing, multiple accounts, and general cheating on the website. Let me start of by thanking you all, on behalf of the MOD team generally, for being patient while we waited to get the tools together to help the website. Now, let's get into the substance of the tools we have been given.
______________________________________________________________________________
IP CHECKS
______________________________________________________________________________
We have been given full service IP checking capabilities today. This means that we are able to detect when accounts are being shared as well as when there is suspicious activity in an account. Take this as a full warning that if you have been engaging in rule-breaking activity, that this will result in punishment. Moderators have been on the website for some time now, so it should be no surprise that this is not tolerated.
RED NOSES AND ORANGE NOSES
______________________________________________________________________________
For those who have been given a red nose and have contacted us, this portion will likely be something that has already been indicated to you. The red nose system is now fully automated by randomize's automated detection tools and CANNOT be manually removed by a moderator. These red noses are assigned in cases where there has been clear suspicious activity in the account, including multiple account usage, sharing of accounts, and VPN/Proxy usage. We understand that some users use VPN/Proxies for privacy concerns or for a variety of other reasons, but generally these have been used in the Tengaged context to hide cheating. Try your best to ensure that VPNs and Proxies are turned off when you are logging on to Tengaged and keep 1 IP address in order to not run into any issues. Also, don't share accounts, of course.
However, we have also been given some new features. As part of our new MOD features, myself, CheapCheep, and koolness234 have been given the ability to manually assign orange noses to users. Essentially, the purpose of these orange noses is to render an account useless. We will be using these on multiple accounts as well as a way to punish users. Orange noses will be similar to traditional red noses. They will make it so the account cannot join games or blog, but it also removes an account's voting power (blogs, designs, votes do not count in Stars/group game polls). See below on our full position on punishments.
Punishments for account sharing and multiple accounts will occur gradually (meaning they will become longer depending on the user's ban history). Multiple accounts that we identify from the past will be given orange noses to render them ineffective or will be issued bans. Orange noses may also be given to users who are identified as cheating as a way to deter this behaviour in the future. Bans will also be given out for account sharing that is identified. We have had a zero tolerance policy on multis/account sharing since being appointed as moderators but have simply not had the proper tools to address the concerns, so do not be surprised if orange noses/bans start occurring for things that have happened in the last week or so, since users should have known better.
EDIT: As of right now, orange noses will be used as a way to deter users from cheating. Bans will still be given for conventional ways of cheating starting from this blog. Orange noses have been assigned for any account sharing prior to the making of this blog.
As part of the new deployment of MOD features, randomize has also given moderators the ability to enroll full Stars casts (yes, all 16 people!) and de-activate the raffle/Stars seat for a particular week. This gives us the ability to host special Stars games in the future in order to create some excitement around the game. These will be planned in advance and users will know whenever there is an event coming, so keep your eyes peeled.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to comment below or mail a member of the team.

Functionally, almost nothing aside from actual account access. In terms of how much time is saved from going in and banning individual accounts, a lot. Randomize wants to essentially use that as a step in between banning so mass banning doesn't happen. Aquamarine
The short answer in terms of when you won't get a manual ban/orange nose is 7 days joshlyn34. Randomize's automated system MAY flag an account up until ~4 weeks or so, but you can send us a message if that's something you're interested in doing.
I dont know what to do to remove my red nose, i got it for literally nothing, maybe for having one IP when i am at home and another one when i am outside home but even though now i only log in with my home WIFI, the red nose is still there...
Yes bamold1999. As of right now, orange noses will be used as a way to deter users from cheating. Bans will still be given for conventional ways of cheating starting from this blog. Orange noses have been assigned for any account sharing prior to the making of this blog.
I literally got a red nose because of my brother :( He created a new account because he forgot his password and email password so now he has a bunch of accounts and I'm like dude.....REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD. But after he created the account the other night and told me about it. I thought nothing of it, but to wake up red-nosed :( and we live in the same area which kinda blows. :(
I'm not using multi, sharing account or using vpn, still I have been given this red noise, it's been like 3 or 4 weeks that I only login to see if I still have this, and nothing changes. And understand that the sistem is automatic, but there's something wrong with it
For the 3 people controlling this what probably happened with mine was that I think I created another account or I tried logging back into my old account and I forgot my account information, so the new account I created and the old account that I am on right now have the same email
Here bc I came back to see I have an orange nose now? I started using a VPN a while back not knowing it was a problem. I don’t know what else it could be.
