Alright so I feel that I need to post something as this is just the height of toxicity on Tengaged.
First, I want to say that voting out Kelly0412 was 100% the right decision for me. Kelly has been personally attacking me throughout the course of this game and has been an active bully to several people who I consider friends. He has posted aborted fetuses, attacked certain castaways, made religious remarks to the Jewish community, etc. Now, I understand with Iceey there is a lot of controversy for pedophilia and everyone is right this guy needs to go home immediately after which he did. Would he have been voted out first if Kelly hadn't actively personally attacked me and other members of our tribe? I think so. Reminder that Kelly didn't even vote Iceey but me instead. However, I want to reconcile in the fact that two things.
1. Ryan (Iceey) had never personally attacked me daily unlike Kelly to the point where I have honestly hit my own breaking point. I am not someone with thick skin and most people know that and people in the M&N cast understood my decision to vote off Kelly cause the bullying would鈥檝e continued and that would鈥檝e been a harm to my mental health. Some of Kelly鈥檚 friends even said that what he did to me was outright wrong.
2. Kelly claims that I enable pedophilia which is very false. Pedophilia is awful and there is no excuse for it anywhere on this site. JesseM, I did not realize was a pedophile till after my All Stars II where brandonrichie told me about the situation. I wish that I had known before but nobody had spoken up and that is my fault for not talking to the players more and the same goes for Iceey which I found out the situation more in depth after Laos but only heard rumors but nothing concrete. That is a hosting error on my end, and everyone has those, but it is not a valid excuse for casting them. I need to do a better job conducting my background checks in the future.
I am here to state that I do not support the actions of both Iceey and Kelly. Both have said and done things that cross a firm line. Pedophilia is by a far worse crime then the personal attacks but I do think for my own personal mental state and players in the game can attest that this is a no-brainier decision for me based on everything that has happened. I understand from an outside lens you don鈥檛 see everything, but I can only give my perspective from being a player in the game. There was not easy solution in this matter.
The only thing I will say is that we can all be better individuals! Everyone has done something morally wrong and/or crossed a line at some point. There is no excuse for it here and in the real world. So, all I ask is everyone take a deep breath and think of something that we could all do better in life and not have to worry about the stresses of what people are saying over the Internet.
