Sticking around on this website is going to be almost non existent.
People join this website to play Big Brother, not castings. I remember when I joined I was shook that I had to play several games to level up just to play the one game I joined the website for to begin with.
Now with PFL and game rotations.... it’s going to be even more difficult for newer users to EVER experience a Big Brother game “Frooks”. Yeah it’s free and white level now... but you can’t tell me new users know how to to stalk the games page or rage refresh and click race to get into a game.
Users that do succeed in getting in will be met with 12 try hards who are game botting for PFL. I don’t think I’ve seen a single new user in frookies since the rotation began. Except for maybe lower level users that used to have a different account and know the ins and outs, but no new users are playing.
Don’t even get me started either on how “Frookies” isn’t even that realistic to the actual BB game either.
Many many many many many many cons to the current system. This website is becoming more active again absolutely, but it’s not going to grow with new users at this rate.

The website's activity is not from a surge in new users but rather an increase in activity from a somewhat dormant userbase. That's the biggest problem with TG, it doesn't attract new players.
U are right but i still think that was a problem a year ago. I remember when i joined, i took a while to understand how things worked. At least rotation fixed premades and made the game a little better. I still think existed another ways to fix premades and that is what a lot of people are talking about and giving new suggestions. Even more with PFL i dont think rotation is needed anymore.
I was thinking the same thing with this. New users have no idea about rotations and would be confused as how to join games which would really just turn them away not wanting to stay on the site
How hard would it be to make a 'ranked frooks' and a 'casual frooks'. If you just made a ranked system (which could be the league) if you incentivise the prizing right people can just play ranked if they want to sweat for the league and play casuals if they are new or want to learn...
Very accurate. As much as I’d like to join a frooks I know I’ll just be playing with people with years of experience and I’ll never have any chance of getting far. Obviously everyone at some point was new and had to learn/work their way up but it’s just really daunting and seems pointless. At least I was here before rotations and kinda understand the site, someone joining today would have no hope tbh. It’d be better if there were different tier levels to the games, it’d be more fun for everyone I think
Agreed I said this the other day in koolness blog I believe, I haven't got to play since I've been back (after rotation was added) and it's lowkey annoying :/)
As someone who joined last October I totally agree with this. I rarely get into a game even if I am refreshing the page super fast and when I d, I've never been able to get past 8th place :/
we can definilty increase the amount of new users who stick around, but Ive met plenty of newbies who have stayed around amd ive only been back 3 months
