why rednecks and rich people love to do fireworks for multiple days before and after the 4th of july
like they “LOVE” this country so much and care SO much about veterans yet refuse to acknowledge that the sound of fireworks can trigger ptsd and anxiety in multiple people(and animals), most prominently those veterans they “love”
like okay bradley and emily we get it you have money and bought the entire tent but please limit your fireworks (which are useless anyways all they do is pollute, you can see pretty lights on your phone) to the 4th of july so us people with trauma can just put in earphones for one night rather than have an anxiety attack on july 3rd because you decided to randomly “celebrate your love for this country”

It really is dumb. I mean like...the nice big display ones in parks and stuff are pretty to watch, but like, every idiot on the street doing it is dumb. I'm staying at my sister's house, and one of her neighbors was doing them and it was loud as fuck and lighting up by the bathroom window.
ashszoke is she afraid of thunder too? Mine is, so we got her this thing called a thundershirt, it is like a vest that kind of is supposed to have the same soothing quality as swaddling a baby, and then we also have these calming treats for her called thunderwonders. Both of those help a lot.
