The tributes rise up into the arena seeing little light. They look around them seeing that there is a huge wall that seperates them and the rest of the arena. The tributes are confused seeing that there isnt much variety of weapons that are present.
Eden is pleased as she sees her favourite weapon which is only several metres away from her: Pair of tomahawks. She looks around trying to search around for her brother seeing that he is three platforms to the left.
As the tributes prepare for the run to the cornucopia the walls around the clearing start to slide down revealing a sinister looking coniferous forest. As the walls go down a large grinding noise follows the wall as it shrinks down into the ground. They all looked worried as there isnt much to show from what they can see at the moment. The clock starts to tick down going to the last seconds
*GONG*
All the tributes start running towards the cornucopia except Millet who has bolted the other way into the forest knowing that he has a better chance of surviving if hes not in the bloodbath with all the child murderers.
Eden is the first to get to the bounty of supplies, looking at herself with glee knowing that she is experienced with all the lumber type weapons that she has found. She grabs a backpack before heading to kill some people.
Ewan is totally exposed as he is running towards Eden so that they can help each other. Ewan tries to get to her but is knocked over by Atlas who has taken Ewan to the floor. Ewan is still in a daze as Atlas goes to take out his small hatchet. Ewan throws a punch straight into Atlas' face getting the boy off of him. Ewan is about to get up as he feels Atlas' arm knock at Ewan's leg making him stumber onto one knee. Atlas then follows with a stab at him with the hatchets straight into the back of his calf making Ewan scream in pain. Ewan sends a kick to Atlas' face making it start to bruise up. Ewan holds his leg trying to flee but it makes him fall over making it easy for Atlas to plant a hatchet straight into the back of Ewan
BOOM
Atlas goes back to the cornucopia meeting back up with his alliance who have all got themselves prepared as they flee. Atlas meets up with Scarlett and Glint which makes them flee straight away.

Clea is hiding behind some crates waiting for some more carnage to occur. She sees Terrance and Dusty battleing the two tributes from 3. Clea gathers the strength to run over to them with a axe in hand screaming at the top of her lungs. She bolts at the male from 3 slashing his stomach while her alliance handles the girl. Jet holds his stomach in agony as he falls to the floor.
BOOM
Amphere looks in worry knowing that she is in a stressful situation with 4 people on her tail. Amphere looks behind her seeing that there is no one by her and the forest is quite close to her. She makes a run for it knowing that its her only chance leaving with nothing. Not looking behind her she runs into the forest as the others watch her run
Clea: Come on lets go. Shes not worth it.
Clea instructs the group as they head off with their fair share of equipment from the bloodbath.

Mintly goes to try and get a backpack but is instantly grabbed by a career: Eden. She laughs as she pins Mintly's arms and legs down onto the floor. Eden's laugh taunts Mintly as she tries to get off but has no physical strength to. She has to watch as her head is throws against the floor several times making her black out and collapse.
BOOM
Eden looks around seeing that more and more and leaving the area and going into the forest. Eden heads over to her alliance as they all collect more supplies together.

Sydney and Quartz see the career alliance gathering knowing they have to act fast.They go to grab a bag which was next to them seconds ago seeing that Tasselle has taken it off of them.
Sydney: Oh no she dont.
Sydney grabs her axe sending it flying into Tasselles back making the girls fall to the ground.
BOOM
Sydney and Quartz travel together yanking the axe out of the tributes back taking her backpack with them into the forest.

Most of the tributes have cleared the area, only a handful left to gather supplies or fight amoung each other for what is left.
Cabe rummages threw the crates to see what supplies there seeing that there is only axes which he feels are his worst weapon.
As his hand reaches inside a crate, an axe swings down, slicing his left hand off at the wrist.
“AAAAA!” Cabe screams as he grabs his arm, blood squirting out of the gaping wound.
Zatik grips the axe as he walks towards him, Cabe backing up. He grabs the crate to his left and holds it, ready to defend himself.
Cabe lunges forward, he swings at Zatik but he side steps, dodging the attack. Cabe quickly turns, he lunges with the crate again but Zatik slashes into his shoulder with his axe. Cabe screams as he grabs his wound.
Zatik slams his foot into his chest, sending him flying backwards, he lands on the ground with a loud THUD. He walks over, raising the axe. Cabe lets out a scream as he sends it down, stabbing him in the chest.
BOOM

The careers stay put seeing that all the other tributes are rushing off into the forest trying to get themselves some salvage after the first big fight. They all celebrate as they start to pack all the left over supplies into the mouth of the cornucopia. The only one that doesn't is Eden knowing that already her brother has died. She wonders around taking all the stuff into the mouth. She looks over the forest seeing the dangers that may hide in the forest

The anthem plays as the tributes head away from the cornucopia.
